Anita Barone

Barone is featured as a character in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld in season 4. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a cook that is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. She appeared in the early 1990s when she was a regular part of the cast of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife during the first Friends appearance. The show ended her time as she was seeking a more full-time role she was substituted by Jane Sibbett. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character, for two seasons.
