Barone appeared on The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld from season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a cook who wants Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was in the group in the show Carol & Company in early 1990, along with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller in her first Friends episode. She was also married to Carol Willick Ross Geller. Jane Sibbett was her replacement after Barone left Friends to pursue a role that needed more time. Barone was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 to 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone played a part in the show Daddio. Barone started her role as the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones in 2010 three years after the release in The War at Home. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
